R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, November 25, 2014, marked the 50th wedding
anniversary of Charles and Nancy Danley of Midland, providing a
fitting opportunity to reflect on their memorable journey together
as husband and wife; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Danley were joined in matrimony at
Calvary Baptist Church in Lubbock on that memorable day in 1964;
they take pride in a fine family that includes their two children
and their spouses, Susan McClendon and her husband, Greg, and David
Danley and his wife, Karisa, as well as four grandchildren, Megan,
Lauren, Blair, and Mason, with whom they treasure spending many
special occasions; and
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Danley
enjoyed a successful career in the banking industry and Mrs. Danley
is a retired educator; and
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 50 years, Charles and
Nancy Danley can savor a wealth of cherished memories and know that
the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more
joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Charles and Nancy Danley on their
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Danley as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
