H.R. No. 3349

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sallie Armstrong has ably served her fellow Texans
as legislative director in the office of State Representative
Morgan Meyer during the 84th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Armstrong has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
and
WHEREAS, In addition to learning more about the legislative
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she
has gained valuable experience in the field of public service; as a
part of her duties, she has assisted with administrative functions,
researched and analyzed bills for hearings of the insurance
committee, and helped brief Representative Meyer on education
policy issues; and
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and she
is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Sallie Armstrong for her service as
legislative director in the office of State Representative Morgan
Meyer and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in
all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Armstrong as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
