| WHEREAS, Sallie Armstrong has ably served her fellow Texans | ||
| as legislative director in the office of State Representative | ||
| Morgan Meyer during the 84th Legislative Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Armstrong has provided | ||
| vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, In addition to learning more about the legislative | ||
| process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she | ||
| has gained valuable experience in the field of public service; as a | ||
| part of her duties, she has assisted with administrative functions, | ||
| researched and analyzed bills for hearings of the insurance | ||
| committee, and helped brief Representative Meyer on education | ||
| policy issues; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her | ||
| duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and she | ||
| is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Sallie Armstrong for her service as | ||
| legislative director in the office of State Representative Morgan | ||
| Meyer and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in | ||
| all her endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Armstrong as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
