H.R. No. 3333

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Nathaniel Rubio has ably served his fellow Texans as
an assistant in the office of State Representative Poncho Nevárez
during the 84th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Rubio has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained
valuable experience in the field of public service; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Rubio is a junior at The University of Texas at
Austin, where he is studying government; he received the Provost's
Gold Scholarship, and he is the alumni relations chair for Pi Kappa
Phi and a cofounder of the Sustainable Dairy Goat Initiative;
furthermore, he has served as a volunteer with the Mission Regional
Medical Center and the Mission Nursing and Rehabilitation Center;
and
WHEREAS, The son of Martin and Juliana Rubio, Nathaniel Rubio
has performed his duties as a legislative assistant with skill and
dedication, and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for
his fine work; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Nathaniel Rubio for his service as a
legislative assistant in the office of State Representative Poncho
Nevárez and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
in all his endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Rubio as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
