| WHEREAS, Timothy Anderson of Kirbyville has been named a | ||
| special honoree in the 2013 HoustonPBS Kids Go! Writing Contest; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, This annual competition encourages local | ||
| schoolchildren to submit creative, illustrated works of fiction; | ||
| the HoustonPBS station received hundreds of entries from | ||
| kindergarteners and first-, second-, and third-grade authors and | ||
| artists, and the winning stories are featured on the station's | ||
| website; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Timothy Anderson is a third-grader at Kirbyville | ||
| Elementary School; his exceptional work earned him recognition from | ||
| the contest judges for the second consecutive year, and he was one | ||
| of only two students who was a repeat honoree; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This unique competition inspires creativity among | ||
| Texas youngsters, and Timothy may indeed take great pride in | ||
| placing among the contest's top entrants; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Timothy | ||
| Anderson on his selection as a special honoree in the 2013 | ||
| HoustonPBS Kids Go! Writing Contest and extend to him sincere best | ||
| wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||

| prepared for Mr. Anderson as an expression of high regard by the | ||
