	H.R. No. 321



	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
	mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Tom and Donna Lene' of
	Waco celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on December
	26, 2014; and
	WHEREAS, Tom Lene' and the former Donna Hamilton were joined
	in matrimony in 1964 at a ceremony held at the groom's parents' home
	in China Spring; through the years, they have been blessed with a
	treasured family that includes their children, Tommy Lene' and his
	wife, Sandra, Lisa Partlow and her husband, Todd, and Candace
	Smythe and her husband, Mark, as well as their nine grandchildren;
	and
	WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Lene'
	worked for the Darr Equipment Company and Mrs. Lene' was employed
	by Baylor University; in retirement, they have enjoyed spending
	time with their loved ones and have also been active members of
	Parkview Baptist Church; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lene' have enjoyed five decades of
	abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an
	exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
	commitment; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Tom and Donna Lene' on their 50th
	wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
	continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
	House of Representatives.
