R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A life filled with joyful times and meaningful
accomplishments drew to a close with the passing of Brenda Sue Davis
of Arlington on November 4, 2011, at the age of 65; and
WHEREAS, Born in 1946, Mrs. Davis brought great joy into the
hearts of countless people throughout her lifetime; richly blessed
with a cherished family, she took immense pride in her son and
daughter and in her two grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Although Brenda Davis will be deeply missed,
memories of time spent in her company will long be treasured by all
those who were privileged to share in her love and friendship; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Brenda Sue Davis and
extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her son,
Craig Davis, and his wife, Dionne; to her daughter, Robin Davis; to
her brothers, Rod Moon and his wife, Phyllis, and Mike Moon and his
wife, Kym; to her grandchildren, Jordan and Brandon Davis; to her
nieces and nephews, Jennifer Hylton, Laura and Michael Moon, and
Chris Branscum; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Brenda Sue
Davis.
