	H.R. No. 2774



	R E S O L U T I O N

	WHEREAS, Katrina Wilkinson has ably served her fellow Texans
	as an aide in the office of State Representative Gene Wu during the
	84th Legislative Session; and
	WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Wilkinson has provided
	vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
	in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
	issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained
	valuable experience in the field of public service; as a part of her
	duties, she has assisted with administrative functions, reviewed
	legislation on house calendars, and worked on a criminal
	jurisprudence bill that has been part of Representative Wu's
	legislative agenda; and
	WHEREAS, A native of Hurst, Ms. Wilkinson is a 2014 graduate
	of L. D. Bell High School, where she earned an International
	Baccalaureate Diploma; while a student in high school, she was a
	member of the National Honor Society as well as a recipient of an AP
	Scholar award; Ms. Wilkinson is currently pursuing her education at
	The University of Texas at Austin; and
	WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
	duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is
	indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
	therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
	Legislature hereby commend Katrina Wilkinson for her service as a
	legislative aide in the office of State Representative Gene Wu and
	extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
	endeavors; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Ms. Wilkinson as an expression of high regard by the
	Texas House of Representatives.
