| WHEREAS, | ||
| Robyn Choiniere of Humble was presented with a | ||
| Rising Star Award by the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce at | ||
| the organization's Annual Awards Extravaganza on January 20, 2017; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, The Rising Star Award recognizes those individuals | ||
| who have made a significant impact during their first three years of | ||
| active involvement in the chamber; Ms. Choiniere moved to Texas in | ||
| 2013 and became involved with the chamber soon after, participating | ||
| in initiatives such as the Total Resource Campaign and Leadership | ||
| Lake Houston; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Following a successful career as a Realtor in the | ||
| Lake Houston area, Ms. Choiniere started her own real estate | ||
| photography business, Picture It Sold, in February 2016, and she | ||
| has photographed almost 200 homes in the growing company's first | ||
| year; in all her endeavors, she is blessed with the love and support | ||
| of her husband of 33 years, Ron, and she takes great pride in their | ||
| sons, Dylan and Dalton; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through her exceptional contributions to the Lake | ||
| Houston area chamber, Robyn Choiniere has made a positive | ||
| difference in the community, and she is indeed deserving of this | ||
| notable honor; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Robyn Choiniere on her receipt of a | ||
| Rising Star Award from the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce and | ||
| extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it | ||
| further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Choiniere as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
