H.R. No. 2540

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Andrew Kyle Almaguer of Friendswood is an
outstanding young Texan who brightens the lives of all who know him;
and
WHEREAS, A student at Friendswood High School, Mr. Almaguer
is part of the PALS program, and he is also involved in the theater
department at the junior high; a talented bowler as well, he
lettered in bowling at FHS and earned a gold medal in the sport at
the Special Olympics; and
WHEREAS, The son of Lillie and Americo Almaguer, Andrew
Almaguer never met a stranger, and he has won the affection of many
people through his civic engagement; he is an ambassador for the
Texas Oilman's Bass Invitational, a junior firefighter with the
Friendswood Volunteer Fire Department, and a valued congregant of
Mary Queen Catholic Church; and
WHEREAS, Andrew Kyle Almaguer brings joy and enthusiasm to
each new task he takes on, and he is indeed deserving of special
recognition for his achievements; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby recognize Andrew Kyle Almaguer for his
contributions to his school and community and extend to him sincere
best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Almaguer as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
