R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Kris Butler served with distinction as an invaluable
campaign volunteer for the 2010 House District 102 election, and in
so doing made significant contributions to the citizens of House
District 102 and to the election; and
WHEREAS, Dedicated individuals such as Mr. Butler are
integral to the success of the candidate's mission to serve and the
party's mission to elect public servants who will build a better
district and state for our families and children for generations to
come; in supporting these worthy goals, they work with people from
all walks of life to make our communities stronger, safer, more
just, and more secure; and
WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, the
work of these committed campaign volunteers helps to build a
prosperous state with elected officials who are prepared to meet
the challenges of the future; and
WHEREAS, It is indeed a pleasure to take this opportunity to
recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time, energy, and
talents toward promoting the interests of the citizens of House
District 102; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby commend Kris Butler for serving as a campaign
volunteer for the 2010 House District 102 election and extend to
this public-spirited individual sincere best wishes for the future;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Butler as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
