| WHEREAS, Kris Butler served with distinction as an invaluable | ||
| campaign volunteer for the 2010 House District 102 election, and in | ||
| so doing made significant contributions to the citizens of House | ||
| District 102 and to the election; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Dedicated individuals such as Mr. Butler are | ||
| integral to the success of the candidate's mission to serve and the | ||
| party's mission to elect public servants who will build a better | ||
| district and state for our families and children for generations to | ||
| come; in supporting these worthy goals, they work with people from | ||
| all walks of life to make our communities stronger, safer, more | ||
| just, and more secure; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, the | ||
| work of these committed campaign volunteers helps to build a | ||
| prosperous state with elected officials who are prepared to meet | ||
| the challenges of the future; and | ||
| WHEREAS, It is indeed a pleasure to take this opportunity to | ||
| recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time, energy, and | ||
| talents toward promoting the interests of the citizens of House | ||
| District 102; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Kris Butler for serving as a campaign | ||
| volunteer for the 2010 House District 102 election and extend to | ||
| this public-spirited individual sincere best wishes for the future; | ||
| and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Butler as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
