R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Public education is an endeavor in which all Texans
  have a stake, and those individuals who devote themselves to the
  development of our young people are helping to ensure that the
  future of the Lone Star State rests in capable hands; and
         WHEREAS, One such educator is Gregory Wilson, a 12th-grade
  theater arts teacher at Juan Seguin High School, who has
  demonstrated his commitment to his students by achieving a perfect
  record of attendance for the 2016-2017 academic year; and
         WHEREAS, During the three years that Mr. Wilson has taught at
  Seguin High, he has worked tirelessly to equip his pupils with the
  knowledge and skills that will enable them to become responsible
  and productive citizens; and
         WHEREAS, Providing for the diverse educational needs of our
  future leaders is an undertaking of paramount importance, and
  Gregory Wilson embodies the spirit of service and dedication that
  are the hallmarks of a good teacher; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Gregory Wilson on his perfect attendance
  during the 2016-2017 school year and extend to him sincere best
  wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Wilson as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
