WHEREAS, Robert Carter IV is graduating as the valedictorian | ||
of the senior class of Foy H. Moody High School in 2017; and | ||
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only | ||
intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the | ||
highest academic standards; Mr. Carter has demonstrated a thorough | ||
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of | ||
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable | ||
high school career; and | ||
WHEREAS, The son of Corina Carter and Robert Carter III, | ||
Mr. Carter plans to continue his education at Yale University, | ||
studying physics and music; and | ||
WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Robert Carter IV has | ||
earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and classmates, | ||
and his exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment | ||
to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for | ||
this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Robert Carter IV, valedictorian of | ||
the Class of 2017 at Foy H. Moody High School, and extend to him | ||
sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins the next | ||
exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Carter as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
