WHEREAS, Alexander Stephens has ably served his fellow Texans | ||
as a legislative analyst in the office of State Representative | ||
Rodney Anderson during the 85th Legislative Session; and | ||
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Stephens has provided | ||
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; | ||
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public | ||
service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the | ||
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and | ||
WHEREAS, The son of Kenneth and Catherine Stephens, | ||
Mr. Stephens was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where he | ||
graduated from Pace Academy; he holds a bachelor's degree from the | ||
Dedman College of Liberal Arts at Southern Methodist University; | ||
and | ||
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his | ||
duties as a legislative analyst with skill and dedication, and he is | ||
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend Alexander Stephens for his service as a | ||
legislative analyst in the office of State Representative Rodney | ||
Anderson and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued | ||
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Stephens as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. | ||
