| WHEREAS, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Flower Mound | ||
| is celebrating its first anniversary on April 30, 2011, with a free | ||
| public event; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Texas Health strives to provide patients and their | ||
| families with an exceptional overall experience, and its success | ||
| thus far is evident in its selection as a Best of Denton County 2010 | ||
| by readers of the News Connection; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The Flower Mound Police and Fire Departments are | ||
| collaborating with the hospital to host a festive, kid-friendly day | ||
| that will include a visit from McGruff the crime dog, a teddy bear | ||
| clinic, helicopter viewings, a healthy kids workshop, free blood | ||
| pressure and heart rate checks, and healthy cooking demonstrations; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital is making a | ||
| positive difference in the lives of area residents, and an | ||
| anniversary commemoration provides a fitting opportunity to | ||
| recognize the hospital's significant contributions to Flower Mound | ||
| and beyond; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby honor Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital on the | ||
| occasion of its first anniversary and extend to all those | ||
| associated with the institution sincere best wishes for continued | ||
| success; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for the hospital as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
