| WHEREAS, Jaree Hefner of Santa Fe, Texas, has been named an | ||
| Everyday Hero by the Galveston County Daily News; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Those individuals who give freely of their time and | ||
| talents to benefit others make the world a better place through | ||
| their actions and their example, and Ms. Hefner is indeed one such | ||
| person; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Compassionate and generous, this notable Texan has | ||
| enriched many lives, and in so doing, she has earned the deep | ||
| respect and appreciation of her fellow residents; now, therefore, | ||
| be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Jaree Hefner on earning the title | ||
| of Everyday Hero from the Galveston County Daily News and extend to | ||
| her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Hefner as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
