R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Tiffany Ryals of the Amarillo Independent School
District was named the 2022 Elementary Teacher of the Year by the
Region 16 Education Service Center; and
WHEREAS, The winners of these prestigious annual awards are
first nominated for consideration by their fellow faculty members,
and those who are later chosen as district Teacher of the Year
become eligible for the regional honor; and
WHEREAS, At the time of the award, Ms. Ryals was a third-grade
language arts teacher at Humphrey's Highland Elementary School, and
she currently serves as the campus's librarian; and
WHEREAS, Tiffany Ryals exemplifies the passion,
determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our
best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all
in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Tiffany Ryals on her selection as
the 2022 Elementary Teacher of the Year by the Region 16 Education
Service Center and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
success with her important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Ryals as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
