R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Christina Severson has ably served her fellow Texans
as an intern in the office of State Representative Kevin Roberts
during the 85th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Severson has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, Following the completion of her internship,
Ms. Severson will continue her studies at The University of Texas
at Austin, where she expects to graduate with the Class of 2019; and
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Christina Severson for her service as a
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Kevin
Roberts and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
in all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Severson as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
