| WHEREAS, Mark Ramsey has been honored with the Chairman's | ||
| Award from the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce for his | ||
| outstanding service to the community; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Each year, the chamber presents the Chairman's Award | ||
| to one of its members based on his or her professional experience, | ||
| contributions to the chamber, community engagement, and | ||
| demonstrated leadership abilities; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The founder and owner of Solutions Technology, a | ||
| manufacturer of printer toner, Mr. Ramsey has served the chamber as | ||
| vice chair II and as chair of the Live Local Committee; he has also | ||
| served on the Economic Summit Committee; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In addition, Mr. Ramsey is a cofounder of 100 Men of | ||
| East Dallas, the founder and president of the Bryan Adams Booster | ||
| Club, and a former president of Dallas Little League Baseball, | ||
| where he played a vital role in raising money to build the playing | ||
| fields at Winfrey Point; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The strength and cohesion of our communities are | ||
| enhanced by the devoted efforts of individuals such as Mark Ramsey, | ||
| whose tireless work has contributed immeasurably to the quality of | ||
| life in East Dallas; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Mark Ramsey on his receipt of the | ||
| Chairman's Award from the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce | ||
| and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be | ||
| it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Ramsey as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
