R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Nora M. Isaac has been presented with an Outstanding
  Award from the Student Support Services Teacher Prep Program at
  Texas A&M University--Corpus Christi; and
         WHEREAS, The Teacher Prep Program is part of the university's
  Programs for Academic Student Support (PASS) initiative, which
  furthers the goals of TAMU--CC by providing resources to
  low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students; in
  receiving an Outstanding Award, Ms. Isaac was recognized for
  excelling academically; and
         WHEREAS, A native of Georgetown, Ms. Isaac is a senior
  majoring in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in K-12
  special education; she looks forward to a teaching career in
  Dallas, and, after having gained a few years of classroom
  experience, she hopes to pursue a master's degree; and
         WHEREAS, Nora Isaac is indeed deserving of this prestigious
  honor, and she may look forward to a future bright with promise;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Nora M. Isaac on her receipt of an
  SSS Teacher Prep Program Outstanding Award and extend to her
  sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further

  ESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Isaac as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
