H.R. No. 1981

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Dan Irvin was named Ambassador of the Year at the
Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Luncheon on
January 27, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Each year, the Lewisville chamber celebrates the
achievements of individuals and businesses who have made notable
contributions to the organization or who have otherwise benefited
their fellow citizens; and
WHEREAS, A campus executive officer at National American
University, Mr. Irvin regularly attends chamber functions and
shares his business expertise with fellow members; he has been
active in the organization's Ambassador Program, serving in
important leadership positions and helping to promote
participation in chamber activities and initiatives; and
WHEREAS, Through his exceptional efforts, Dan Irvin has
furthered Lewisville's reputation as a great place to live, work,
and raise a family, and he is indeed deserving of this prestigious
award; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Dan Irvin on being named Ambassador
of the Year by the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce and extend to
him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Irvin as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
