H.R. No. 1930

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at
the tragic death of Keenan Rhae-Von Hubert on March 28, 2011, at the
age of 20; and
WHEREAS, Born on December 24, 1990, Mr. Hubert was raised and
educated in Waco; and
WHEREAS, Known as "Lockie," he was beloved for his sense of
humor and will be deeply missed by all those who held him dear; and
WHEREAS, While the life of Keenan Hubert ende
d far too soon,
he will always be remembered with great tenderness and affection;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Keenan Rhae-Von
Hubert and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family:
to his mother, Dawn Johnson; to his father, Artumus Matthews; to his
dad, Reginald Johnson; to his brothers, Kelton Hubert, Cameron
Caruthers, DeIdris Woods, and Artumus Matthews, Jr.; to his
paternal grandparents, Janice Matthews and the Reverend Lonnie
Matthews; to his special friend, Derricka Mitchell; and to his
other relatives and friends; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Keenan
Hubert.
