| WHEREAS, The service of an admired Edwards County elected | ||
| official drew to a close when Mark Bean retired as the tax | ||
| assessor-collector on April 9, 2018; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Taking office on January 1, 2013, Mr. Bean served | ||
| his fellow citizens with distinction during his notable tenure; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment to | ||
| good governance, Mark Bean has helped make Edwards County an even | ||
| better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of | ||
| excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Mark Bean on his retirement as the | ||
| tax assessor-collector for Edwards County and extend to him sincere | ||
| best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Bean as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
