| WHEREAS, Gustav Gygi has ably served his fellow Texans as an | ||
| intern in the office of State Representative Jason Isaac during the | ||
| 85th Legislative Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Gygi has provided vital | ||
| assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in | ||
| addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public | ||
| service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the | ||
| issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. Gygi grew up in Watauga and graduated from | ||
| Haltom High School in 2014; he currently attends Stephen F. Austin | ||
| State University, where he is majoring in history and minoring in | ||
| political science; he has served as a community assistant at SFA and | ||
| as a referee for youth soccer in Hurst, Longview, and Nacogdoches, | ||
| and he worked part-time during high school for Whataburger and | ||
| Vans; following his graduation, he plans to pursue a law degree; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his | ||
| duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is | ||
| indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Gustav Gygi for his service as a | ||
| legislative intern in the office of State Representative Jason | ||
| Isaac and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in | ||
| all his endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Gygi as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
