| WHEREAS, Kash Bradley of Bushland High School achieved great | ||
| distinction by winning the bronze medal in the 3A long jump event at | ||
| the 2021 University Interscholastic League Track & Field State | ||
| Meet; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school competitors in | ||
| Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 6, Mr. Bradley | ||
| turned in a notable performance, soaring 21 feet, 10.75 inches, to | ||
| claim third place; throughout the season, he benefited from the | ||
| guidance of his jumping coach, Derek Mauldin; and | ||
| WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for | ||
| high school track and field athletes, Kash Bradley has ably | ||
| represented his school and community, and he will cherish his | ||
| memories of this outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Kash Bradley on his bronze-medal | ||
| finish in the 3A long jump at the 2021 UIL Track & Field State Meet | ||
| and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be | ||
| it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Bradley as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
