WHEREAS, The passing of Thomas Emmett Davenport of Dallas on | ||
March 12, 2011, at the age of 69, has deeply saddened his family and | ||
friends; and | ||
WHEREAS, Tommy Davenport was born in Waco on April 18, 1941, | ||
to Mary Elizabeth and Charles Davenport; raised in Bosqueville, | ||
this esteemed Texan enhanced the lives of others with his kind and | ||
friendly nature; and | ||
WHEREAS, Although Thomas Davenport will be deeply missed, | ||
cherished memories of time spent in his company will long endure in | ||
the hearts of all those who knew and loved him; now, therefore, be | ||
it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Thomas Emmett | ||
Davenport and extend sincere condolences to his sister, Marion | ||
Moses, and her husband, Don, and to his other relatives and friends; | ||
and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of | ||
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Thomas | ||
Emmett Davenport. | ||
