| WHEREAS, Corpus Christi Independent School District trustee | ||
| Dolly Gonzales Trolley received a 2023 Women in Education Award | ||
| from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women | ||
| in Education event on March 29; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Appointed to the school board in January 2021, | ||
| Mrs. Trolley was returned to office in the November 2022 election | ||
| and currently serves as board secretary; renowned as a steadfast | ||
| advocate for students, she works tirelessly to engage and | ||
| collaborate with parents in an effort to further the district's | ||
| educational mission; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Trolley holds a bachelor's degree from | ||
| Stephen F. Austin State University and has two decades of | ||
| experience working as a fundraising consultant; she gives | ||
| generously of her time to numerous organizations within the Corpus | ||
| Christi community and has been actively involved in several PTA | ||
| groups over the years; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Dolly Gonzales Trolley has set an outstanding | ||
| example of leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, | ||
| and she is indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Dolly Gonzales Trolley on her | ||
| receipt of a 2023 Women in Education Award from the Education | ||
| Service Center Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued success in her important work; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mrs. Trolley as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
