R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Sarah L. Hirsch of Houston has been named director |
|
of party administration of the Harris County Democratic Party; and |
|
WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of the Bayou City, Ms. Hirsch |
|
graduated from Lamar High School and went on to earn her bachelor's |
|
degree from the University of Houston-Downtown; and |
|
WHEREAS, She gained experience working on the Obama for |
|
America campaign and volunteering with the Harris County Democratic |
|
Party before joining the staff of that group's 2010 Coordinated |
|
Campaign as volunteer coordinator and director of operations; and |
|
WHEREAS, In her new position, Ms. Hirsch is responsible for |
|
managing the operations of the party, implementing key strategies |
|
and policies, and managing the volunteer staff; and |
|
WHEREAS, Engaged in her community and dedicated to her |
|
profession, Sarah Hirsch is an able leader, and she may indeed |
|
reflect with great pride on her notable achievements as she takes on |
|
her role as director of party administration; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Sarah L. Hirsch on being named |
|
director of party administration of the Harris County Democratic |
|
Party and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be |
|
it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Hirsch as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
