WHEREAS, In recognition of her exemplary efforts as a City of | ||
Mesquite employee, Thalia Guaida has been selected as one of the | ||
quarterly honorees in the Real Texas Service Champions program; and | ||
WHEREAS, This worthwhile initiative celebrates hard-working | ||
city employees who have distinguished themselves through their | ||
dedication, professionalism, and positive attitude; and | ||
WHEREAS, Thalia Guaida serves as senior court clerk for the | ||
finance department, guiding nine clerks in the daily operation and | ||
critical functions of the municipal court; among other | ||
responsibilities, the clerks prepare legal documents for judges | ||
pertaining to the issuance of warrants; during the pandemic, her | ||
steadfast leadership has been instrumental in smoothing the | ||
transition to the virtual operation of the court; and | ||
WHEREAS, On a daily basis, Thalia Guaida renders valuable | ||
assistance to her fellow citizens, and she is indeed deserving of | ||
this prestigious award; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Thalia Guaida on being selected as | ||
a Real Texas Service Champion by the City of Mesquite and extend to | ||
her sincere best wishes for continued success in her important | ||
work; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Ms. Guaida as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
