| WHEREAS, Rule 5, Section 21, of the permanent rules of the | ||
| House of Representatives of the 87th Texas Legislature allows the | ||
| house, by resolution, to open the floor of the house during its | ||
| sessions for public ceremonies as may be deemed warranted; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby grant permission for the floor of the house to be | ||
| opened on October 2, 2021, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the Grand Lodge | ||
| of Texas, provided that the house is not in session. | ||
