| WHEREAS, Dorcas T. Bullock of the Alabama-Coushatta Indian | ||
| Reservation celebrated her 95th birthday on February 20, 2015, to | ||
| the delight of her family and friends; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Born in 1920, Ms. Bullock is a lifelong resident of | ||
| the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation and the tribe's oldest | ||
| living member; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This esteemed woman is the beloved matriarch of a | ||
| fine family that has grown to include her three children, Lawrine | ||
| Battise, Mavis Marroquin and her husband, Joe, and Wayne Bullock | ||
| and his wife, Genny, as well as her 14 grandchildren, 35 | ||
| great-grandchildren, and 42 great-great-grandchildren; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Dorcas Bullock is an inspiration to all who have the | ||
| good fortune to know her, and her 95th birthday offers a welcome | ||
| opportunity to remind her of the special place she holds in the | ||
| hearts of her loved ones; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Dorcas T. Bullock on her 95th | ||
| birthday and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued | ||
| happiness; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Bullock as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
