	H.R. No. 1243



	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced
	by a great and enduring love, Ronnie and Diane Harris Lamb of
	Greenville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 20,
	2013; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lamb were united in matrimony in 1963;
	through the years, they have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that
	has been made even richer with the addition of three daughters,
	Cindy Lamb, Kristi Lamb, and Rhonda McGriff; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Lamb worked for Consolidated Freightways for
	years before retiring, and Mrs. Lamb is a beautician; they are
	members of Park Street Baptist Church; and
	WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past
	half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant
	in their commitment to each other, and the strength of their love
	has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with
	grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Ronnie and Diane Lamb on their
	golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
	for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Lamb as an expression of high regard by
	the Texas House of Representatives.
