R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Dr. Roberto S. Margo has provided veterinary
  services in Starr County for more than four decades; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Rio Grande City on February 27, 1943, Dr.
  Margo served his country as a captain in the United States Air Force
  during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Thailand; he earned his
  bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and went on to complete
  his doctorate in veterinary medicine; and
         WHEREAS, Dr. Margo established the Margo Veterinary Clinic in
  1969; for more than a quarter-century, he also managed his parents'
  ranch, the Rancho Margo; in all his endeavors, he enjoys the love
  and support of his wife of 45 years, Minerva H. Margo, as well as
  their four sons, Rick, Eduardo, Carlos, and Michael, and their five
  granddaughters; and
         WHEREAS, Through his dedicated service in veterinary
  medicine, Dr. Margo has contributed to the quality of life for many
  residents of Starr County, and it is indeed fitting to recognize him
  at this time; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby honor Dr. Roberto S. Margo
  for his service as a veterinarian and extend to him sincere best
  wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Dr. Margo as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
