| WHEREAS, Jennifer Beech of Boggess Elementary School has been | ||
| nominated for the 2025 Plano Independent School District Elementary | ||
| Teacher of the Year award; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to | ||
| become successful and productive adults, and those men and women | ||
| who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference | ||
| in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Beech has taught a variety of programs and | ||
| grade levels since 2012, including kindergarten, first grade, | ||
| fourth grade, special education, and English as a second language; | ||
| she currently serves as a prekindergarten teacher, and she has | ||
| previously volunteered in a number of schools in Michigan, Texas, | ||
| Utah, Mexico, and Ecuador; she holds a bachelor's degree in | ||
| elementary education from Brigham Young University, and she has | ||
| also completed master's degree courses in literacy, math, and | ||
| social studies at the University of Alabama; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Jennifer Beech exemplifies the passion, | ||
| determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our | ||
| best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all | ||
| in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Jennifer Beech on her nomination | ||
| for the 2025 Plano Independent School District Elementary Teacher | ||
| of the Year award and extend to her sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued success with her important work; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mrs. Beech as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
