HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, Members of Leadership Highland Lakes are visiting
  the State Capitol on April 13, 2011; and
         WHEREAS, Now in its fifth year, the Leadership Highland Lakes
  program is dedicated to educating and motivating future leaders of
  the area; participants take part in a variety of experiences
  designed to enhance their knowledge and abilities and to give them
  tools to respond to needs and circumstances affecting the region;
  and
         WHEREAS, Members of the program have the opportunity to meet
  with local experts and gather valuable information about business
  and industry, real estate, state and local government, social
  services, tourism, and arts and education; to further develop their
  skills, participants are called on to serve as coordinators for
  future Leadership Highland Lakes sessions; and
         WHEREAS, This admirable initiative encourages citizens to
  become more involved in the growth and direction of their
  community, and in so doing it contributes to the future prosperity
  of the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the 82nd Legislature of the State of Texas
  hereby recognize April 13, 2011, as Leadership Highland Lakes Day
  at the State Capitol and extend to the members of the program
  sincere best wishes for continued success with their important
  work; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Leadership Highland Lakes as an expression of high
  regard by the Texas House of Representatives and Senate.
