| WHEREAS, House Bill No. 4686 has passed the Texas House of | ||
| Representatives and the Texas Senate, been enrolled by the | ||
| enrolling clerk of the house of representatives, and been signed by | ||
| the speaker of the house of representatives and is being prepared to | ||
| be sent to the senate; and | ||
| WHEREAS, House Bill No. 4686 contains a technical error that | ||
| should be corrected; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the signature of the speaker of the house of | ||
| representatives be declared null and void and that the speaker be | ||
| authorized to remove the speaker's signature from enrolled House | ||
| Bill No. 4686; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That the enrolling clerk of the house of | ||
| representatives be hereby instructed to correct House Bill No. 4686 | ||
| by striking SECTION 4 of the bill (page 4, lines 5 and 6), repealing | ||
| provisions of the Special District Local Laws Code, and | ||
| substituting the following appropriately numbered SECTION: | ||
| SECTION ____. Sections 8334.103(b) and 8334.104, Special | ||
| District Local Laws Code, are repealed. | ||
