| WHEREAS, House Bill No. 4311 has been adopted by the house of | ||
| representatives and the senate and is being prepared for | ||
| enrollment; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be | ||
| corrected; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED by the 85th Legislature of the State of Texas, That | ||
| the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed | ||
| to correct House Bill No. 4311 by adding the following SECTION 2 to | ||
| the bill and renumbering SECTIONS of the bill accordingly: | ||
| SECTION 2. Section 8473.201, Special District Local Laws | ||
| Code, is amended to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 8473.201. AUTHORITY TO ISSUE BONDS AND OTHER | ||
| OBLIGATIONS. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), the [ |
||
| district may issue bonds or other obligations payable wholly or | ||
| partly from ad valorem taxes, impact fees, revenue, contract | ||
| payments, grants, or other district money, or any combination of | ||
| those sources, to pay for any authorized district purpose. | ||
| (b) The district may not issue bonds payable wholly or | ||
| partly from assessments. | ||
