H.C.R. No. 117

HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 1525 has been adopted by the house of
representatives and the senate and is being prepared for
enrollment; and
WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be
corrected; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the 87th Legislature of the State of Texas, That
the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed
to make the following corrections:
(1) In SECTION 7 of the bill, in added Section
28.004(e-1)(2)(A), Education Code (page 6, lines 20 and 21), strike
", at which an opportunity for public comment is provided,".
(2) In SECTION 7 of the bill, in added Section
28.004(e-1)(2)(B), Education Code (page 6, lines 24 and 25), strike
", at which an opportunity for public comment is provided".
(3) In SECTION 48(a) of the bill, repealing provisions of
the Education Code:
(A) immediately following the semicolon (page 62, line
20), insert "and"; and
(B) strike Subdivision (5) (page 62, line 21), and
renumber subsequent subdivisions accordingly.
