| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 662.004(b), Government Code, is amended | ||
| to read as follows: | ||
| (b) This section does not apply to a state holiday that | ||
| falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the 19th day of June, the Friday | ||
| after Thanksgiving Day, or the 24th or 26th day of December. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. | ||
