| Protection District. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Chapter 9502, Special District Local Laws Code, | ||
| is amended by adding Section 9502.0313 to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 9502.0313. GOVERNING BODY AND AUTHORITY. The | ||
| governing body and authority of the district is modified as set | ||
| forth herein. Nothing herein shall be construed as to add | ||
| additional land to the district, alter the taxing authority of the | ||
| district, alter the authority of the district with respect to the | ||
| issuance of bonds, or alter the qualifications or terms of office of | ||
| members of the governing body of the district. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. | ||
