| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Chapter 775, Health and Safety Code, is amended | ||
| to read as follows: | ||
| CHAPTER 775.400 BIG BEND REGIONAL EMERGENCY SERVICE DISTRICT | ||
| SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS | ||
| Sec. 775.401. The Big Bend Regional Emergency Service | ||
| District shall be established through collaboration of Brewster, | ||
| Jeff Davis, and Presidio counties. | ||
| SECTION 2. This act takes effect September 1, 2023. | ||
