| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Subchapter E, Chapter 504, Transportation Code, | ||
| is amended by adding Section 504.4055 to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 504.4055. JUSTICES OF THE PEACE. The department shall | ||
| issue specialty license plates for current justices of the peace of | ||
| this state. The license plates must include the words "Justice of | ||
| the Peace." | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. | ||
