BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
SECTION 1. Section 531.102(a-3), Government Code, is | ||
amended to read as follows: | ||
(a-3) Notwithstanding Section 531.00553, the office [ |
||
|
||
administrative support services functions necessary to operate the | ||
office [ |
||
|
||
|
||
functions of the office related to the following: | ||
(1) procurement processes; | ||
(2) contracting policies; | ||
(3) information technology services; | ||
(4) [ |
||
(5) budgeting; [ |
||
(6) personnel and employment policies; and | ||
(7) hiring and dismissal of administrative staff, | ||
including information technology staff. | ||
SECTION 2. Section 531.102(a-8), Government Code, is | ||
repealed. | ||
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. |
