| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 502.001(6), Transportation Code, is | ||
| amended to read as follows: | ||
| (6) "Commercial fleet" means a group of at least 12 | ||

| owned, operated, or leased by a corporation, limited or general | ||
| partnership, limited liability company, or other business entity | ||
| and used for the business purposes of that entity. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. | ||
