	A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
	AN ACT
	relating to a special bill of review to reform a final judgment of
	forfeiture of a bail bond.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
	SECTION 1. Article 22.17, Code of Criminal Procedure, is
	repealed.
	SECTION 2. The repeal by this Act of Article 22.17, Code of
	Criminal Procedure, does not affect the validity of a special bill
	of review that was filed before the effective date of this Act and
	that is pending before a court on the effective date of this Act.
	SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
