| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Chapter 1214, Acts of the 71st Legislature, | ||
| Regular Session, 1989, is amended by adding Section 6B to read as | ||
| follows: | ||
| Sec. 6B. IMPACT FEE. (a) Notwithstanding Section 395.011, | ||
| Local Government Code, the district may assess an impact fee for new | ||
| developments as defined by Section 395.001, Local Government Code, | ||
| in an area outside of the district in which the district is | ||
| authorized to provide potable and nonpotable water in Travis and | ||
| Hays Counties. | ||
| (b) Sections 49.212(d), (d-1), and (d-2), Water Code, do not | ||
| apply to the district. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. | ||
