| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 361.119, Health and Safety Code, is | ||
| amended by adding Subsection (g) to read as follows: | ||
| (g) Rules adopted under Subsection (f) must require | ||
| financial assurance in an amount not less than $25,000 and must | ||
| apply to recycling facilities regardless of whether the facility | ||
| receives financial compensation for the acceptance of recyclable | ||
| material. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. | ||
