| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 2306.097, Government Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: | ||
| (c) Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter or | ||
| the rules adopted under this chapter, money administered under this | ||
| section may be used for any purpose and in any manner that complies | ||
| with federal law if the recipient of that money certifies in writing | ||
| to the department that the recipient cannot use any of the remaining | ||
| money in compliance with this chapter or the rules adopted under | ||
| this chapter. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. | ||
