	A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
	AN ACT
	relating to the designation of polling place locations on the
	campuses of certain institutions of higher education.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
	SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 43, Election Code, is
	amended by adding Section 43.008 to read as follows:
	Sec. 43.008. CAMPUS POLLING PLACE. The commissioners court
	of a county shall designate as a polling place a location on the
	main campus of an institution of higher education as defined by
	Section 61.003, Education Code, located within the county if at
	least 10,000 students are enrolled in the institution.
	SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.
