| relating to the exemption of registered dental laboratories from | ||
| certain distributing and manufacturing licensing requirements. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 431.273, Health and Safety Code, is | ||
| amended by adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows: | ||
| (a-1) A person is exempt from licensing under this | ||
| subchapter if the person holds a registration certificate issued | ||
| under Chapter 266, Occupations Code, and engages only in conduct | ||
| within the scope of that registration. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. | ||
