| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 31.092, Election Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: | ||
| (f) A county election officer commits an offense if the | ||
| election officer prevents the county chair or the county chair's | ||
| designee from supervising the conduct of the primary election, | ||
| including the tabulation of results, as required by Chapter 172. An | ||
| offense under this subsection is a Class B misdemeanor. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2015. | ||
